Absolutely love this little revolver. For the money it is still going. I have taken the stock grips on and off eventually I found a inside the waist Band holster on the Taurus shop website. It is perfect cause I have been through leather holsters and even considered open carry like with my G17. I have the hogue wood grips on and I do not recommend laser sights because just no. The bobbed hammer looks really good. It’s one of the sexiest revolvers I have ever held just because of the smooth and curvy shape That this gun possesses. Parts compatibility and the company itself is pretty rude as far as customer service goes. 40 minutes for a phone call that got me a no for a promo that got restarted. Really Taurus. And yeah I’m talking about a broken laser by viridian and the holster I had to purchase a month later due to slow shipping too. Fair warning. On a positive and very good note, This gun and buds is a win. My second purchase and hopefully after yet another blow to our country, hopefully not my last gun buy from y’all. So from my family to yours and with love from Georgia. God bless and stay safe.

My FFL in SC received my 856CH in stainless about seven business days after ordering from Ammodynamics. Good communication on the order during that time from Ammo Dynamics(I was impressed). All in all, a top-notch service experience from these folks. The revolver: This is the fourth Taurus revolver for me, and I can say all are accurate and tough (I also have a S&W 686, a Browning 9mm, and a S&W 9mmShield 2.0). The 856CH is not the airweight version, and it weighs in at 20 ounces, which for me is okay because I drop a round and usually only load 5. Plus, the recoil is about the same as my Taurus 617, which is a lot of fun to shoot. Keep in mind, the stainless steel on the 856 is VERY matte–don’t expect the nice S&W polished surface. It takes a little polishing with Mother’s Mag polish (if you like doing that type of thing, and I do) to get the weapon semi-polished and more importantly, to get the weapon to a slicker, smoother finish when it rubs against cloth or leather, as in the ease of sliding from a fabric or leather holster. I REALLY like the–I call it a ‘two stage’ trigger pull–which for me is nice on a double-action-only weapon with a concealed hammer. The pull hesitates right before the final click that fires the weapon, allowing the shooter–or at least me–to get the muscle motion on the trigger out of the way before that final aim point prior to firing, if that makes any sense. Anyway, I’m pleased with both the product and the service.

if I had bought it before, it would be cheaper, but it is still at a good price, becouse this revolver is great
my favorite are S&W, but this price cannot be beat, it shoots perfect, just practice to get used to the heavy trigger

I fired a box of 50 through this baby last week, and it performed quite well. And, truth be told, the quality and the price of this snub-nosed revolver made this purchase very easy. On top of that, the prompt delivery was also amazingly fast even though I live in a very rural community. Thanks, again, Ammo Dynamics Shop!

I love this gun. It’s about the same size as a 5 shot. Very nice looking and excellent fit and finish. Accuracy is good. Grip is secure in the hand. I keep in the truck glove compartment. I own several Taurus guns and really like their offerings
